A few more days to Christmas! Ho-ho-ho ~
#1 Towards a brighter 2021
When life gives you lemons, you make them a color of the year? Yes, bring on the positive vibes but I am hoping in addition, that nations, people in power and us individuals, have learnt a great deal from 2020 and play our part to make 2021 better.
#2 New York Timeās Year in Pictures 2020
A picture paints a thousand words. We will let them do the talking here.
#3 Selective Ignorance
In an increasingly noisy world this certainly helps. Growing intentional knowledge by being selective in your intake of āgarbageā daily.
- In James Clearās own words: āIgnore topics that drain your attention. Unfollow people that drain your energy. Abandon projects that drain your time. Do not keep up with it all. The more selectively ignorant you become, the more broadly knowledgeable you can be.ā
Couldnāt have said it better.
#4 An interesting list
Some good ones I enjoyed - 1, 7, 10, 12, 18, 25, 29, 42.
#5 Can you handle the truth?
āBad bloodā is one my favorite reads of 2020 and itās also a book that makes my blood boil. Erika Cheung was 1 of the whistleblowers of the Theranos scandal (shoutout to Tyler too) and here she shares her experience coming out.
I recommend checking out the book if you havenāt already. You can find my sharing on it here.
#Word
āOneās mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.ā
ā Oliver Wendell Holmes
And thatās a wrap! (I will still be posting next week)
š Merry Christmas & Happy holidays!
